Locke is one of California's most famous historic towns, settled and inhabited by people of Chinese ancestry until recent decades (see Wikipedia). In the process of going from town to historic town to tourist town, Chinese Americans moved out and art and artists moved in. A museum is on Main Street, along with a restaurant and a shop or two, and galleries make up the remainder. How many depends somewhat on your definition of "gallery."

Art migrates to History. Maybe this is totally unremarkable. Maybe Art migrates Everywhere.
